That's right, the bikes and I packed up and moved to Durham. New job, new city. Should be pretty exciting. If any of you old farts make it this way, give me a shout and we can put down some miles!
Cheers!

So you're now kinda like us Charlatans, have to ride 85 miles to get to a decent meet-up spot before the mtns--like with 007 in WS.

Congratulations on the new job!
When I lived there most mountain dayriding for our Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill group was in VA. We would often meet at the TA station at I-40 exit 138 and head north to the highlands on NC-61. The practical limits were Christainsburg to the north and Stone Mt Park to the west.

I have great riding spots near Winston that are all lowlands and comfortable when it is cold. You guys ever going to come up this way?

Well needless to say working 40 hours a week has kept me busy and the bike hasn't been ridden. Seems all my off days are cold and wet.

Welcome to a working stiff's riding live. I remember one spring in Ohio... it rained 13 weekends in a row!
