Yamaha FJR1300 Gen1 stuff

Unread postby yamadog » Sat Aug 06, 2016 9:54 pm

Hi folks, I no longer have my 2005 FJR and find myself with a few things hanging around that I would like to give away. No charge, just come and get them.
1. Standard windscreen in great shape.
2. Gen 1 rear shock assembly. Still in good condition.
3. Set of ContiMotion tires with an estimated 750 miles left on them.
4. If I find more, I'll throw it in a box for ya.

Call me at 704-534-0696 if you are interested or send a PM.

No longer have a need for speed. Sorry.

Yamadog over and out.

Got a 07' Honda Shadow VT1100 Sabre (cruiser)that's in great shape. Doing some modes on it as we speak. Re-jetting carbs for performance increase, adding my farkles and such. I was just getting too tired and sore riding the FJR and, as I age, am a little more conservative when it comes to risk taking.

I hope all goes well with your surgery Monday. Rehab will be a bitch. You will need to just "sit around" and I know that will drive you nuts.

Sorry, Broz. It's just that my neck and arms hurt so much after a ride that I had to change something or not ride at all. The real killer was a torn rotator cuff (2 places) that made the riding position of the FJR painful. I'm also not as young as a used to be and I think it's time to slow down. I hope the invitation to ride with you guys is still there. Somebody has to bring up the rear!

Not a problem with me. You are welcome on anything. [THUMBS UP SIGN] I was wondering why you didn't get the FJ09 or one of its brethren.
