Re: How about a 250cc Adventure bike!?!?175kg = 385 pounds... that seems kinda porky to be dragging around with only 250cc.
Re: How about a 250cc Adventure bike!?!?Plus it would also have to drag my fat ass too! [FLUSHED FACE]

Re: How about a 250cc Adventure bike!?!?The weight is piggy but maybe not quite as bad as it seems since I think it's wet weight with included top and side cases. Here's an interesting pic I found. They've integrated side guards into the frame (nice) but the header is poking through the front ready to get knocked off (not so nice). The company that makes these engines, Zongshen, is one of those huge Chinese outfits you've never heard of. They produce 4000 engines per day, complete scooters for Vespa, parts for Harley Davidson...etc.
Re: How about a 250cc Adventure bike!?!?Hmmm..
What you can see of it in this photo I think it looks GREAT! Kind of says it all... did you read the Why a 250 section... it makes sense too! Brick

Re: How about a 250cc Adventure bike!?!?There's much to be said for a 250 but IMO they're still just a little too heavy. If they had a 400-450 in what they're offering I'd seriously consider it.
Re: How about a 250cc Adventure bike!?!?
Yeah, the whole concept is lost on me (doesn't take much these days. ) A whopping 24 HP pulling 385 lbs. I've got a 400cc DRZ400S that only weighs 318 lbs. with 48 HP. Bob
Re: How about a 250cc Adventure bike!?!?Too bad Honda is unlikely to bring this here:

Re: How about a 250cc Adventure bike!?!?For the past 20 years or so... I've been wishing Honda would bring or make one or more of there bikes here... I just don't pay attention any more!
