Voice from the past

Unread postby yamadog » Tue Sep 24, 2019 4:57 pm

Hey Everybody,
Yamadog here. I need to change my user name as I have purchased a new Can Am Spyder F3-S.Wow, is this thing fun! I had to add a third wheel because of my neuropathy. Found it to be fast and a lot of fun. Two wheel speed was ok but I had some close calls with stopping and balance. This thing got rid of those! Tripod knows of what I speak.
Just said goodbye to my longtime neighbor, Bob, and hope to see him sometime soon "in the hills".
Hope everyone is well.

Jim

Hi Jim,
Welcome to the Y world. <icool> If you haven't seen it, one of the largest online Spyder forums is https://www.spyderlovers.com. There's lots of good information on it along with a good number of third party vendors that have some excellent products. With Bob and Broz having moved out of town there are two fewer old farts in the area but I'm generally always up or a ride somewhere.

Nice to hear from you guys, too. <wave>
Bob, I'll try to check the forum from time to time if I have a day open for a mountain ride. Looking forward to it. <tour>
Jay, sorry to hear that Broz has moved out of town. I do ride a lot of weekends with a group called "Stateline Riders". You can find them on "Meetup". They have several Spyder Riders. I'll be looking you up for a week day ride sometime in the future. Need cooler weather. <whew> <whew>
Brick, Great to hear from you too. Look forward to "eating your dust, again. lol
Still Farkling the F3S. Added Lamanier Lip to windscreen. Sway bar next. <rdr>

I am thinking of a Can AM if I cannot get my leg recovered. How about that Ryker?
