2019 VFRD SPRING MEMORIAL RIDE MAY 2-5 Franklin NC

Hello all!

Once again the hooligans over at the VFR forum are going to be meeting up in May for a week of riding and sharing of tall tales, cold beverages, and parking lot turning of wrenches. It’s always a blast and I would love to see some of you Old Farts out there. There’s riding groups for everyone fast or slow and all types of bikes are acceptable! What memorial is this ride dedicated to?

Bob, years ago (in 2002 I believe) the fellows who founded the VFRD forum lost a member on highway 28 south of The Gap. When dad and I took over planning the event 3 years ago we changed the name to the Spring Memorial rose, from the original Texasmac Memorial ride, per the request of the previous fellow who had created and planned the event for so long. Dad and I chose to keep the Memorial part alive out of respect for that gentleman who lost his life as well as all of our fellow riding brothers and sisters who have lost their lives on the road.
