Well after about 50 years of riding motorcycles and a serious accident, I've decided to hang it up. So this means I have a lot of motorcycle gear I need to get of. I thought I would try to sell most of the stuff locally if possible. So here is a list below of some of the things that I have that I'd like to give friends and local bike owners first chance at. I'm just going to list them and if you're interested or have a friend that might be interested you can email me for additional information. I'm not sure what some of this is worth so l am not listing prices so you can make me an offer and I promise not to be greedy.

Yeah it sucks and I know I will miss it but you know I think What I will miss the most is the good friends that I've made riding motorcycles.

Hate to see you give it up Don. Maybe reconsider with a lighter, simpler bike that's less of a production. Steve (who's still a pup!) has fun slinging his Honda 500 and I have a ball zipping around on my Suzuki DRZ400. Losing 140 lbs by trading my FJR for an FJ-09 made for a noticeable decrease in effort and increase in fun.

I can get into plenty of trouble with the 500X... But it is a blast to ride - perfect for the twisties with power that earns speed rather than grants it. The loss in power is only notable to the ego when you first take it for a test ride. The rest disappears. I mentioned multiple times that the bike is happy going SLOW, which is worth its weight in gold. Caught behind a school bus? No problem. It just begs to relax when called for. In all seriousness, do what is best for you. However, a lighter bike WITH EXCELLENT SUSPENSION would do wonders. No one complains if you don't keep up. That is between you, your bike, and the road.
