I have a 6K BTU Frigidaire window A/C that was in my garage and I just moved up to a 10K BTU because it was really not quite large enough to do the job. Only a few years old and used only when I was working in the garage in the summer months. If you have a smaller space, i.e. a 1-car garage or similar, or if you have heated/cooled area above your 2-car garage and insulated walls, it would probably cool it off nicely. Or at least cut the humidity a bit. Of course you'll need a window to place it in. FREE to anyone who will pick it up.
