2007 Triumph Tiger 1050 ABS

Unread postby PirateRiderBen » Wed May 20, 2015 11:43 am

Okay folks I am letting my Tiger go. I bought another bike a couple weeks ago and as much as I would love to ride two bikes at the same time, I can't quite figure out how. My loss = your gain! This bike originally came from Charlotte where it was owned by one of their mechanics who did most of the miles and add ons to it. I have had it for a year and put about 3000 miles on it. In that time I have completed the following: oil changed twice with Amsoil synthetic, moose racing sintered rear brake pads, new brake fluid, coolant flush and refill with Engine Ice, Pilot Road 2 tires, grease axels and bearings, NGK iridium spark plugs, K&N air filter, new red LED marker lights, new chain and sprockets, and a a thorough cleaning with the bike stripped all the way down. I also added a Corbin saddle and a MRA Vario windscreen. the bike has just shy of 26,000 miles. The bike was dropped by the previous owner in his gravel driveway because the kickstand sank in while it was parked. The SW Motech crash guards have some small scratches on them because of this, but thats what they are there for. The saddle bag sustained some pretty good scratches on its painted panel, my fix for this? A can of plasti-dip and about 3-4 coats. Now they are just black saddle bags (I matched the non damaged side so they are both black. The top case is still yellow.) Plasti dip is removable and the panels can be found on ebay for cheap if its really a huge issue. Other than that the bike is in very good shape and doesn't show its age and mileage like many touring/adventure bikes do. I get lots of compliments on its condition. I added up the value of all the add ons this bike has and ended up north of 4 grand. I will list off everything I know of this bike has that is additional:

SW Motech crash bars
Triumph 3 piece hard luggage
Aftermarket extra loud horn
HID headlights
Tourtech handguards with extensions
Tourtech rear fender extender
Ohlins fully adjustable rear shock (1200$ just for this shock new!!)
Corbin Saddle
Triumph Comfort saddle
Triumph integrated heated grips with dash mounted control
MRA Vario adjustable windscreen
Powerlet accessory power outlet
Stainless steel brake lines
Triumph TOR exhaust system
TuneECU race tune
Battery Tender connection
Triumph Carbon fiber look tank protector
Mirror extenders (thats right no more looking at your shoulders)
Pazzo Racing adjustable brake and clutch levers
Kickstand foot (no more tip overs in gravel driveways)
Triumph service manual
Center stand
Kaoko throttle lock
Also has two keys

Clean NC title in my name ready to transfer 6850$

I'm pretty sure that is all but I may be forgetting something, this thing is pretty tricked out.

Now this has to be said: NO TRADES, NO SCAMS, NO TEST RIDES, CASH ONLY!! I DO NOT FINANCE. I will ride it for you to show you it works and runs as it should if you so desire. Serious buyers only, I love bikes but I do not have time for tire kickers. If you wanna talk shop, buy the bike and then we can go ride and shoot the crap.

I have added a Cee Bailey windscreen and the rear tire will need to be replaced in the next 800 miles or so. The price is now 6500$ cash.

Nobody ever does that. Or worse yet, throw it down the road and then try to sell it. Total goofballs. <dope>

The more I look at streetfighter K12S examples, I start thinking about options... Hmmmmm. Oh yeah, back to Ben's fantastic machine!
