I ordered a Givi toolbox from Carpimoto.com

Unread postby flip » Thu Jun 10, 2021 11:32 pm

I’ve been wanting to add one of the toolboxes that mounts on the backside of the saddlebag mounts on my Caponord. The Givi toolboxes look pretty good and I found a couple of posts on other groups where guys had mounted them on their Caponords with Givi’s universal mounts and a bit of bending and creativity. So I searched and the best deal I could find was at Carpimoto.com, an Italian company. I saved around $25 for the toolbox and universal mount. I ordered on June 5 and it arrived this afternoon, June 10.

A few years ago, I ordered 2 sets of Matris fork cartridges from the same place, for my Shiver and my son’s SV650. And don’t remember the details but it seems like I saved over $250 on that order over anyplace in the USA.

Hey, I admit that I’m cheap and love to find bargains. I’ve ordered twice from Carpimoto.com and saved money both times and had great service. I highly recommend them.

I thought Givi was an Italian company so maybe that helps them be competitive.

I ordered a pair of Forma riding boots direct from Italy and saved money over US vendors. Also, I don't know if it's still true but Andreani fork upgrade cartridge kits were less expensive from Italy. Sometimes it works out that way.

Givi has a warehouse and retail store in Charlotte. It’s been a awhile since I was there. Don’t know in the COVID period if the retail side is open.
