Hatfield/McCoy off road adventure

Unread postby Clyde » Fri Mar 10, 2017 2:55 pm

My self and a few MSTA members from Pa.spent 3 days I'm the mud. First t ime I ever washed my aero stitch at the car wash. Bike of choice would not weigh more than 250#, and have the knobbiest tires availablehttp://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/58c2f6498b56d/KIMG0595.jpg?

Yeah, it looks like you've got TKC80 tires and I also learned the hard way that they're great 50/50 tires but don't cut it when offroad gets more serious. The knobs are close together so the in-between spaces fill with dirt or mud then you lose all traction. I run Pirelli M21 front and Dunlop D606 rear on my DRZ for that reason.

TKC80 and those steep cliff trails drive home the point.
