Its really nice. So Gopro does all the real work huh? I was thinking to myself "did BROZ really do all this video editing" lol. I have done it in the past and its like watching paint dry.

Looks nice. Try the medium instead of wide FOV setting on your GoPro. It looks more realistic with reduced fisheye lens appearance - objects in front of you appear closer and curves look curvier - less like looking through the wrong end of a telescope.

roger that Lee. There is also a Linear setting which might be new on the 5 Black. It might even do more of the same. Need to experiment.

here is another...this one I used GoPro Studio...I don't think this one automatically ads music like the last one (that was GoPro Capture but only does 30 or 60 second highlights).

It looks like the camera is "floating" above your helmet, I see the helmet move in and out of view---is it really floating or direct attached? Weird...

I wonder if its when I hit the throttle and it tilts my head back? It is attached. I think it is showing how my head position changes slightly. I will be sure to double check the camersa view next time so helmet will not appear.

Check out the Sena Backpack for GoPro for real time voice narration and ambient sound without the wind noise. Here I used it to describe the Rekluse clutch while riding my DRZ a couple months ago. https://vimeo.com/191814239 Describing what's going on makes your videos more interesting and saves a lot of time not having to add captions or voice over in post processing.

Yeah but if its hard mounted, the camera should keep the same perspective at all times regardless of your head position. Seeing the helmet in the video is not a problem, I just wonder how it can come in and out of view if hard mounted....

What you're seeing is the result of image stabilization in post processing. Part of what that does is crop edges of the frame at different times. That's why the helmet appears to float in and out of the frame.

Makes sense--works pretty well too. Is that done by the software you use after you download the video? Or during the ride?

It's post processing - done when rendering a video file from the camera. I'm not sure because I don't use it but there might be a "stabilization" setting that can be engaged when Youtube renders a video for streaming.

The GoPro 5 has stabilization built in. Supposedly a new feature.

Lee the settings go from Narrow, Linear, Medium, Wide, Superview.
Do you have the same if so have you used narrow or linear with any perceived improvement?

I think I shot those videos in Superview.

My GoPro has wide, medium and narrow FOV settings - no linear. I've found medium the best setting for ride videos. Wide FOV is the default for many people and it gives a smooth image and a lot in the frame but everything is compressed and looks far away in a fisheye lens. Narrow FOV brings objects in close but the sense of speed and motion is lacking. Medium FOV gives the best compromise for a dynamic look with a realistic appearance.

Superview captures at 4:3 then stretches, mostly at the edges, to 16:9. That's going to cause quite a bit of distortion at the edges.
