Re: Grapevine 6/18/2016Well dang, I'm glad Greg was thinking about pics! I took one too, I need to go find it. Thanks to Lee for a great route, great lunch stop, and for leading us around all day. Nice meeting Greg and Shelby, and glad to see Scott is back on 2-wheels again!
Here it is. Bob
Re: Grapevine 6/18/2016Dang I'm bald!!!
Great ride today Lee! Not an easy task at all to lead such a large group on such a complex route. What's a few U-turns among friends anyway!? Just a chance to see each other from a new perspective. Serious fun for all and seriously thanks Lee! Shelby had a major blast and is still smiling. Everything that spells FUN, will cost a little bit more than you can afford.
Re: Grapevine 6/18/2016Everybody's usually good a something and I believe my u-turns will stand as the record for all time! What a beautiful day and big fun.
Re: Grapevine 6/18/2016Good days ride. Nice to meet more COFSTA riders. Enjoyed that Cuban sand which!
Re: Grapevine 6/18/2016
Ken, did you ride your 2 wheeled SUV or one of the Aprilias? Its hard to tell with all those luggage boxes in the picture. Making the ST1300 disappear would be like making an orcha at Sea World vanish...
Re: Grapevine 6/18/2016I rode the FJR. I am dealing with some muscular disorder and the FJR is more rideable for a long day ride. I can only ride the Tuonos when I trailer up to the mtns or local rides. I have hope though. Seeing some specialists this week. As you probably know as an MD , muscular disorders are sometimes hard to diagnose and treat but there good meds out there these days.
Re: Grapevine 6/18/2016For some reason I thought you had the ST. Hmmm, maybe my memory is failing. Might need meds for that!
Re: Grapevine 6/18/2016
Steve, Scott used to have an ST-1300... now he is smart and has an Super Tenere'! Brick
