DS Penley Rd and others

Gorgeous day yesterday and Jeff, Greg and me got together for some dual sporting in Pisgah. It turned out my Sena to GoPro sound wasn't working so here's a silent video of some Penley Rd, one of several less-traveled we checked out. Numerous adventurish water crossings!

Great looking ride. I bet it was as much fun as it looked. Hope you guys had a chance to ride back down the same route. I'm jealous.

Lotsa side roads and forks along that route--looked interesting. Where is Penley Rd.?

I miss doing it...but it just ain't in my cards.

Penley is SE of Blowing Rock off Sampson. The couple other interesting side roads we did lead to some other roads we discovered that will have to wait for next ride because it was getting late. That's the way it seems to work.
