4/11 ride to Hawg N Dawg and the sandy 19W

Well Beachy, 007, and myself met at 10:30 at the Gate in Morganton, headed around lake James, up 126/80/197 to Erwin, great lunch at Hawg N Dawg and 007 went north to the Snake to ride 421 back to Winston. Then beachy and I headed down 19w. It wasn't as sandy as last month but across the NC state line it is still too dirty for much spirited riding. We hit Jacks Creek and Double Island on the way back, 226a down to Marion and then I stopped for gas and Beachy went on down towards Charlotte. I picked up 40 in Marion and scooted back down to the house.
Weather was great! Thanks for joining fellas.

Hope to see more of you kids out there next go round.

Good ride, guys. The Snake was covered in salt - you didn't miss anything there, but the rest of the ride was fantastic across Big Laurel, 88, 221, 18 and around Hanging Rock to finish things off. Little traffic, and I found a new secret road that goes haphazardly around Mt. Airy.
