Weds. 3-30 Ride to places unknown

Unread postby Bob » Wed Mar 30, 2016 9:13 pm

Gorgeous day for a ride in the high country. Beachy, Old Duc, Yamadog, Lee Davis, and I visited some offbeat, arcane, obscure, and far-flung spots, many of which will remain a mystery. <banjo>

We also rode a bunch of awesome twisties. <tour>

U shudda been there. But you weren't. <poke> Why? :?:

Really fun ride! I always enjoy putting around on a new side road or two to have a look-see.

Here we are HIKING the trail to Elk Creek Falls that really is uphill - BOTH WAYS!

There was a short stretch of gravel between 19E and 143. The valley we rode up towards Roan (Heaton Creek Rd) was gorgeous, but the road changed to a steep rocky trail at the end so we backtracked and cut over to 143 a different way. Still worth the ride up and back.
