Patricia is trying to plan her trip to STAR too this year. She will either Drive out or Fly out as she will have her Service Dog, Trent with her.

I will be riding out and want to ride Nova Scotia either before or after.

Also Stay-in-Safe will have training classes available on the 25th before STAR.

Our guest speaker will be the hilarious Alonzo Bodden. Alonzo was the winner of Last Comic Standing in 2004 and has gone on to a successful career as an actor and comic. Bodden is a car and motorcycle enthusiast. In addition to an e92 BMW M3 and JCW Mini Cooper, Bodden owns many motorcycles, including a Triumph Rocket III, a Triumph Speed Triple, a Ducati 1098, a BMW HP2, and a Ducati Multistrada. Bodden appeared in Why We Ride (2013) – last speaker on the movie trailer: https://vimeo.com/75545684

It's gonna be fun... I love the MC travel to and from too. This year I'm going to ride up to Quebec City after as Chris has a conference to attend while I explore the area. Then it's on to ride Nova Scotia. I'm ready and have wanted to visit that area for years! <icool> <icool>

Brick, I haven't heard the usual gloating about how you're gonna win the raffle bike this year.....is that because its a beemer? <pop>

Hmmm... Well actually there are two raffle bikes this year. The beemer and a Honda. Admittedly the Honda is the Grom... so I'm as cold about it as I am the beemer. When I win either I'll be selling them anyway.
There are some beemers that I would love to own. It's just that there are so many other motorcycles I would rather own... and they cost a bunch less.

Well we went on to Quebec City where some asshole almost killed me. Four lane road two each way I'm in the left lane all of a sudden a little black car is in my lane coming right at me. It was to close for comfort.
No we are in Nova Scotia.

Trips end. Got home yesterday around 4:30. 5,265 miles 19 days many states and a few provinces. We rode to the end of the northern most paved road off Th Cabot Trail Nova Scotia. There was 8 more kilometers of unpacked road but it was wet and quite Rocky. Not for this old guy on a loaded down Tenere. Now if I was on Honda's new Africa Twin... [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES] Image
Saw this 5 lb lobster in a lunch place... Image
Loved this sign in PA. Image
Restaurant attached to a Comfort Inn in VA. Image
Ate this 1 1/4 lb lobster in Main. Image
Went up to the top of the highest strand suspension bridge observatory in CT. Image
Saw and rode across the longest covered bridge 1,280 feet long. Image
Image
Saw this at many McD's but at $8.99 I just couldn't do it. Image Ate ice cream at the original Ben and Jerry's. Somehow it tasted better than I remember. But perhaps it's also because it's been over 6 months since I had any ice cream. ? Image
Didn't win MSTA's raffle bikes.. But the guy who did win was present, it was his first STAR and he has been down on his luck recently. He is also the first and only HSTA/MSTA bike winner to ride the bike home from STAR.

Nice pics and it looks like a great trip. The best thing about my 2005 New England trip was the cheap Lobster. We enjoyed 3# Lobsters at dinner twice for $22 with 2 sides.

We were in one place and at the bar a few fishermen were talking how great it was that the price they were getting for lobster this year was up from $4/lb to $8/lb. so our 1 1/4 lb lobster with chips and corn was $18.95. But still... OMG Yummm!
