Heated Gear Ride 11/14

Unread postby LeeDavis » Sun Nov 15, 2015 9:54 am

Beachy, Jeff, Brick and I were out yesterday and for me at least is was the 1st heated gear ride of the Fall season. It all worked, nobody got electrocuted and by lunch temps warmed up and the electrics got swapped out for more normal attire. We started at Gate then on to Burnsville via 80, Weaverville via Paint Fork, Lake Lure via 74A then headed out back home on Buffalo Creek Rd. Lunch in Weaverville at Blue Mountain Pizza, a deli/bar sort of place featuring local stuff including beer and wine. Decent, I'd eat there again.

Brick it's up to you to post the proof pics.

up and around... all in all a GREAT ride! Thanks!

Being a lot more cold blooded I kept my heated gear on a bit longer. I started with the Gerbing and my new heated glove liners http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/firs ... ove-liners under my Klim gloves http://www.revzilla.com/snow/klim-togwotee-gloves. After lunch I went back to my old heated gloves as I didn't need as much heat. <thumb>
