Uwharrie Loop with Busa Boy

Ed and I made an impromptu brisk run thru the scenic and colorful Uwharrie NF today--colors were actually better there than what I saw in the mtns. last week! Kind of a blur though.... <muaha> We also partook of some tasty Mexican cuisine along the way in Albemarle.

At one point, in a long straight-away I unleashed the mighty GS just to see if Ed's new Busa could keep up. Boy was that embarrasing. That Busa's like a rocket sled. <fonda> Ed says 181 is next on the agenda. <grin>

'Twas a fun time, indeed Image ...thanks for reaching out- it was good to get out and burn a lil' gas for a change!

Glad to be back on a 'busa... something about the platform just really "works" for me. I've got a little tinkering to do on it here and there (heated grips, suspension tuning) but this one's probably going to be around for a good while.

Is this a replacement for one of the other bikes or an addition?

Addition for the near term, but I'll shed one of the others eventually... probably the SV1000.
