Us working stiffs have to take it when we can get it. So I'm riding tomorrow. Anybody want to meet at Morganton Gate 09:00??
It's going to be a bit "brisk", but Saturday looks like the better day this weekend.

There is a ride tomorrow. 10AM $20 at the St Mary's Church road entrance to the Burke County fair grounds. Then there is a route... You don't have to ride with the group. They end up at South Mountains Children/Family services for a cookout. The kids get to see all the motorcycles and you can win some door prizes. All the money goes to South Mountains home for abused kids! A great cause. I usually go pay the $20 and sometimes show up for a burger.

We met up at the Burke County Fairgrounds which was the benefit ride starting point. Brick graciously agreed to lead the way today so we two headed out. I got to meet some new people, and Brick and I rode all day in the beautiful weather.
There was gorgeous wildlife out today, especially that young doe on Steeltown Rd. I've seen her there before, but this time she waved at Brick!
Yes, we had a routing mishap or two, but it was an awesome weekend day to ride. Thanks Brick.
