2013 Progressive Motorcycle Show

Unread postby Bob » Sat Feb 23, 2013 5:35 pm

Ed & I rode in to the convention center and met up with Scott & Broz. Also saw Yarbi there with his Harley-riding neighbor. Tried on a couple new helmets--might be my next one--new line from HJC called RPHA Series. Then we had lunch across the street at Fuel Pizza--yummy. Here's a few pics. Show seemed smaller than last year, and the absence of displays by Yamaha & Kawasaki probably contributed to that.

The best part of it all was lunch with friends!! <thumb>

Chris Jernigan and I drove to Charlotte on Sunday. I enjoyed it but it was much smaller than in pat years. The talk among the vendors is that there is a new Co coming to do a Dealer show in Tampa, Fla next year. Also looking to do a IMS type show... To put this company out of business. This could be very good since the show has sucked more each year. Yamaha, Kawasaki and Gerbing pulled out at the last show before Charlotte this year!!

Chris and I both bought BMG = British Motorcycle Gear Explorer jackets. End of show/season discounts
I was looking to see the new Shoie GT AIR helmet. Duhhhh not at the show. I want one but $497 is a lot!!!
