Defying the weatherman I took off for a ride after lunch yesterday and tried out the new Sena/GoPro setup. It was a gorgeous day.

I'm guessing that spot on Old House where you turned back was pretty steep ahead. Camera working great. Next Weds. looks possible for a dirt ride....?

With no frame of reference things are steeper than they appear on video and the surface there was wetter than it looked. I did a lot of wheel spinning to turn around from where I was - further down was steeper, more rutted and leading to a possible point of no return situation. If you notice, there was a gully in most of Old House Gap since that's the path of least resistance for drainage. I'm wondering if the Forest Service folks do repair on that.

A Wed ride sounds good.
