Unread postby Brick » Mon Apr 06, 2015 1:31 pm

This years Big Lynn Lodge Ride July 24-26... You should be there!

The Big Lynn Lodge is SOLD OUT for 2015!

If you wish to attend the 2015 BLL event you should still call them and ask to be put on the room cancellation list. Perhaps you'll still get a room there.

Call them here 800-654-5232.

You will still need to go to http://msta-se.com/BLynn/ and print, fill out, fill in and mail the MSTA's Event registration from to me!

There are two hotels within 3 miles that have vacancies for the dates of this years BLL. July 24-26.

Alpine Inn 828-765-5380 http://www.alpineinnnc.com/ Susan & Ron I was quoted $109/night 2 Full beds or 1 Queen bed.

The Switzerland Inn 800-654-4026 https://switzerlandinn.com/home.html I spoke with Jordan and they still have vacancies $169/night 1 King or 2 Double beds.

If you are staying at another hotel other than the Big Lynn Lodge you can still share all the event happenings including Breakfast for $7.50 and Supper for $15.00/person. ALSO if you do get a room in another hotel be sure to call the Big Lynn Lodge and tell them that you want to eat with the MSTA members so they can be prepared with sufficient food. ALSO included with this event the Big Lynn Lodge is providing a Free event T-shirt BUT in order to obtain your free event t-shirt you much phone the Big Lynn Lodge at 800-654-5232 and give them you name and T-shirt sizes for all in your party!

We will once again have the Alligators Blues Band Friday evening AND Ann Marie LaFrance will be providing chair messages Friday after your ride in AND Saturday evening another of her associates will be present to provide chair messages after a great day's ride. While the chair messages are free tipping is always appropriate!

I look forward to seeing you all at this years 2015 Big Lynn Lodge Ride event!

Be sure to mail me your MSTA event registration form! Go to http://msta-se.com/BLynn/ for the registration form!

I agree, that place has a certain charm/ambiance with the view, cabins, and "community dining".

Mark excellent! I hope you already have a room because it's sold out at the Big Lynn Lodge.
You know what I really need is a story written about the event... Like a recap... A how much fun we had... A what Y'all missed story. Ann are you a reasonably good writer? I'm not so could use help there. On cite I may need help... I'll let you know thanks!

Ann was the copy write editor for the college newspaper, many years ago, before she went into the nuclear industry. She suggested maybe a photo journal sort of thing. We have a portable tent shelter that can be set up in the parking lot. She will bring her Miata and the dog. We will probably run back and forth each day. Let us know how we can help.

It was a fantastic event. We sold out the BLL and had members down the road in a couple of the other motels too.

We had lots of door prizes too! A few big things like a Dunlap tire of your choice. A nice Slider jacket, Slider riding pants, Slider gloves. All came with coupons to exchange for the correct size too.
As of right now the 2016 MSTA Big Lynn Lodge event is sold out! I think people like it! A free massage both Friday and Saturday after your ride. A great blues band Friday night... The Alligators! And well we know how great the roads are around there.
You missed a good one.

I must be out riding my Super Teneré'!

If you want, you could just do a mass upload into the COFSTA Photo Gallery, easy.

Bob,
I may do that... but give me a bit of time here to get settled in. I leave on August 11th for San Francisco as our daughter is getting married. I'll get to it honest.
