Post Misery Ride 3/2

It was great to be back in the saddle after a cold, wet, snowy and otherwise all-round miserable last half of February. I needed a ride bad! Brick and I hooked up at Gate, had a tasty lunch at Moondoggy's in Marion, beat our way back up around Wilkesboro, next Brushy Mt. and finally a bunch of little back roads to just south of Lenoir where we split ways for home. Weather was beautiful; didn't need heated gear and by day's end I had stowed my jacket liner and was wearing only the outer shell.

Glad somebody rode today! The sun finally came out around 11:30 here and dried stuff out but prior to that it was fog/mist/wet roads until 10:30 or so. Just didn't inspire me to head out. Looks like some spring-like weather is on the way though! 76F on Weds?? <icool>

YaaaaHooo! Damn that was fun! What a great day! Lee showed me the way today. I was trying my best to keep up with him. Damn he is quick on that FJ09! Especially in the corners he keeps a higher corner speed than I for sure!
I ended up wit 195 miles for the day. I didn't turn on the Checkmytour until the lunch stop.

Then the stop on 321 before 268.

All in all a fantastic day riding. Whew, I needed that!
