Highlandish Ride 2/11

Unread postby LeeDavis » Thu Feb 12, 2015 12:16 pm

Nice ride yesterday! Chilly in the morning but by lunch no heated gear necessary. Thanks to Bob for putting it together and Brick for taking up the highland lead challenge. 80, 226, 181...all good. The only disappointment, 7 Mile Ridge Rd covered in salt and sand but one crapped up road on an all day winter ride is a good result. Bob, you have to post the proof picture from our scenic overlook break at the Big Lynn Lodge.

It seems the back roads often have the most salt and sand. Maybe because they don't get scraped as much the stuff doesn't get pushed off the road.

Yes, I too had a fantastic ride yesterday. With the pending <BS> of weather approaching for some time I'm REALLY glad to have the day to ride with Ya'll! <tour>

Again, great ride and thanks to Bob and Brick. Enjoyed meeting Sam and seeing Beach again. It was nice to see the FJ-09 up close and in person. Keep up the great farkleization, Lee.

Sorry I missed out. Hope to join up soon when the weather turns and I can get my BMW back. It is getting closer. They said it was ready, but I sent a full list of the required fixes for a double check, but have not heard back.

Yeah, so much for my prediction of an early spring. <dope>

And all those highlands roads we rode that were clean will now have a fresh coating of crud on them. Back to the foothills for a few more weeks. <violin>
