Tuesday Nov 11 - Lake James

It was a beautiful day to ride. I hope all you Veterans had a good Veteran,s Day. I rolled out of Buck Creek RV Park and headed through Marion and around the south side of Lake James. They were cleaning the shoulder on Powerhouse Rd. and had it blocked to one lane. I headed up 181 and had a great run to the top . I stopped at the Marathon gas station to get gas . I headed back down 181 to Fish Hatchery Rd. and went around the north side of Lake James and back to Marion. I met two of my sons at Fatz Café and had Lunch. I had a good Club sandwich and salad. I left from there and then made a pass up and down Hwy 80 and returned back home. I couldn,t figure out how to download the pictures from my smart phone so hopefully you take my word for it. I hope you guys have a good ride tomorrow around Wilkesboro. dangerousdan

I would like to join you guys but when I put the FJR up today I got the woodsplitter out. Trying to get caught up before the cold weather arrives. I can,t go this time but I hope ya,ll have a good ride and enjoy 1 more warm day before the cold arrives. dangerousdan

The guy with his back to us reminds me of Billy Acklin--and I see an Aprilia in the group too! Brick--that look like Billy? You know, his build and stance. (NOT his butt lol)

Those are some local Charlotte riders; Dave Pisak, yes Billy Acklin, Kirk Marshall but I don't know the guy in the red jacket. I was up there Tueaday too but did Yancey, Mitchell , and Madison counties.
