More new Tarmac

Unread postby tireatr » Tue Oct 28, 2014 6:45 pm

Did a few days riding up the high country and discovered that Big Laurel off NC88 has recently been resurfaced. This is the section of pavement in NC after TN167 stops. You guys that rode through W Jefferson last week may have encountered this.

Also, NC 226A to Little Switzerland was as clean as I have seen it since it's resurfacing back in May. There was however a state trooper on 226A, likely due to the increase in bad press generated because of Blind Kenny and the Little Switzerland Inn dubbing the road "The Diamondback". The locals are not happy and the SHP is on alert.

Popo was there on Monday. Just sitting in someone's driveway but obviously looking for speeders. Came off the Mtn on 80 today.
