I would love to do this one year... perhaps. The we is the SCMA Southern California Motorcycle Association they are the ones who put on the Three Flags event and they do a 4 Corners too. In my life I've done all but #9 & 13. but to do them all in one year would be Exceptional! <tour> <tour> <tour> <tour>

We are offering the Best 15 US Roads Challenge for the 4th year. The
challenge started spontaneously in the Spring of 2011 when the American
Motorcyclist Association published its Best 15 Roads article. We looked at
the list and said, “hey, that sounds like a challenge!” Game on!
Two riders took the challenge that year: Kathy and Larry Lamarche from
Kamloops. In 2013, eight riders signed up and six completed the ride. We
adjusted the challenge roads in 2012 and made one change in 2013. The
2014 list is the same as the 2013 list.
Tour all 15 in any order, any direction and at any time during 2014. Riders
may complete the challenge in segments but all miles back and forth to home
and on the roads themselves must be on a motorcycle, trike or motorcycle
with side car. Gas receipts and photos are required to document your tour.

With just a quick look at the list it seems like “Kancamagus Highway” NH is the outlier - not on the way to/from or near any of the others. I've never heard of it but I don't get out much.

Yes, Lee I think you are correct. I think perhaps we could start here and go up the BRP... they say only 150 miles of it?? Then go up to NH to do the Kancamagus Highway??

I just "rode" it in Google Earth street-view. Nice. Even passed a few bicyclists at the top.

BTDT. <grin>

I, at 66, spotted my oldest grandson 48 years on a bicycle ride from Front Royal to Asheville on Skyline Drive & the Parkway. Dumbest thing I've ever done. By the time I got to Asheville I looked like a quart of formaldehyde would have done me good!
