Ride Friday 12-6 to Uwharrie

Three of us met out at the QT on #74 and took the back way to the Sportsman at Lake Tillery. After a quick burger we rode the Ophir-to-Troy loop and back to the Sportsman for some corn-free gas. We got back to CLT before the rush hour and the temp was about 75 degrees. In December! It's why we live in the South.

I'm guessing that was you, Terry, and Jim (Capo). Jim emailed me Friday morning but I had already pulled the tupperware off the GS to install my new Rigid LED aux lighting. Santa came early. Glad you guys rode--it was like a summer day!

Next time yall are heading over to Uwharrie (or anywhere for that matter) post up a ride here if ya want more company. I have never ridden over there and would like to check it out. Is the Sportsman the lunch stop also? I'd have to bring my extra gas cans for that corn-free petrol.

These will be some nice 3-4 hour cold weather "impromptu rides" for the Greater Gridlock Area.
