April 5 HOT Springs

Unread postby tireatr » Wed Apr 05, 2023 9:03 pm

Hot Springs lived up to its name today. Brick and Phil picked up Dan in Lake James then proceeded up 80 and met me at the BRP, my 2nd ride in consecutive days after 3 months off the bike. We rolled over to HS with some traffic in Burnsville, then back roads to HS. Sadly both the Iron Station and the new pizza place were closed, so we dined at the Spring creek Tavern.
Good company, good roads, and a good day overall albeit a tad toasty for April 5th.

Chilly and damp this weekend but better weather next week! I have a lot of catching up to do. Hope to see more of you soon!

Dave has a pic or two I believe.

It was a RUN to Hot Springs and while the two “better” places were closed I enjoyed the food I had at Spring Creek Tavern. [THUMBS UP SIGN]
