Stuart to Meadows of Dan

Took a little ride north to Stuart VA. Stopped at the Woods Brothers Racing Museum. It’s worth the stop. Headed to Meadows of Dan on Hwy 58. About 2 miles out of Stuart road construction started for 3 miles. DOT is straightening what was a nice curved country road. Joined the BRP for a distance at Meadows of Dan.

From Walnut Cove to Stuart is a winding road. Awesome if there is not traffic. Stuart to Meadows of Dan used to be a great road but it looks like VA DOT is killing it.

That was our dayride area when I lived in Chapel Hill, bordered to the north at Christiansburg and west at Galax.
