10:30 1/18/23 Todd, Greg, Clyde and I rode out of MoTown. Sounds like the start of a Fiction Book. … ok ok … the roads were “damp ish” so I decided to kind of take a sort of direct ish route. I had a FANTASTIC ride up the Saluda grade the last time I got to ride it… so wanted that again. So a direct ish route to get there.
We started up 176 aka the Saluda Grade. The lower part was ok but soon the obstacles showed up. First damp roads… then mulch IN the road!! we had a laugh over that. Then a “one lane” road sign. No big deal … no one working. Just that quick we were at the top. Left turn into Green River Eddy’s or the Saluda Grade Outfitters. Lunch was great. After lunch I have a great route, all paved, that brings us out at the bottom of the Saluda Grade for another run up! Awesome!

Thanks for leading us around Brick. Lunch was great, Ride was great, and weather was great. What else could you ask for in January.
