SE-STAR September 6-8, 2013
One announcement I made over the 2012 SE-STAR event concerning the 2013 event is the being the South-East STAR, I am going to try to do a roving event over the SouthEast. Next year we will be at the Iron Horse Lodge near Deals Gap in Stecoah, NC. http://www.ironhorsenc.com/ This will be a Just for Fun, non-sanctioned event I've already booked us for the Weekend of September 6-8. I know it is close to Labor Day weekend, but the dates we typically have our SE-STAR event was already booked as well as the weekend before and after that, so this was the closest I could get.
The Iron Horse has a LOT of lodging options from a bunkhouse to an entire cabin with 3 or 4 bedrooms. I've blocked all the bunkhouses, the private and semi-private cabin rooms. That would get us to about the amount of people who typically attend this rally. There also is Tent and RV camping available. The block of rooms is good until the end of this year. As popular as this venue is, I would encourage reserving early.
The Iron Horse is holding these cabins for us through the end of December. As stated above, I would encourage early reservations as this is a very popular venue and if you wait until later in 2013, rooming options may be limited. As of yesterday, there are only three reservations including mine. Plenty of room available.
