My back is killin me ride 4/7/21
Posted: Wed Apr 07, 2021 4:09 pmOk ok ok... sorry to hold y’all back today. (Here come the excuses) Yes I hurt my back Tuesday morning changing the front tire on my GA... so excuse #1... I was conservative because of the new front tire. And for excuse #2... my back is killing me!!! Yea yea... that’s it!
I actually think that knowing I had a brand new tire... 5 miles... hurt me a lot as in I rode conservatively and stressed my back more than I needed to. Later in the day I felt smoother as I once again trusted the front tire.
After lunch in Mountain City I knew I needed to not ride the Snake but to head for home. Bob and Beachy joined me heading back toward Morganton. That doesn’t mean we avoided curves.
Dan, Todd and Flip headed on to the snake and beyond.
I’m sitting in my recliner with my feet up a cool one in my hand and ice on my back. [THUMBS UP SIGN]
