Well the weather turned out nicer than forecast so we decided that it may be the last chance this year to ride in the Mountains. [THUMBS UP SIGN]

An excellent turnout with 8 bikes and riders. Scott, Bob, Ron, Ken, Adrian, Aiden, Dan and I had a great ride today. Lunch at the Hometown Beer Company. They have a wood fired oven and make great pizza!

Glad we got out!

Great ride--some of the roads were a little "iffy" in places but overall was definitely worth it to hit the high country. Thanks to Brick for clearing the deer out for us.

Good seeing everyone and also meeting a few new riders. Very fortunate to be riding good roads with good riders in the mtns of NC in December.
