Bob, JR and I met at the Gate today at 9:30. Bob had found a new road and wanted me to lead to lunch at his favorite place in Burnsville... Bubba’s. After lunch Bob lead us up and over Roan Mountain to his new road. The first part was fantastic with new pavement but was only 1 1/2 lanes wide with no center line AND two way traffic. The rest was ok and returned us back on NC19. From ther we rode 173 over to 107 and back over the Mtn into NC. After a brief break in Red Hill we headed toward MoTown.
All in all a great day of riding! Temperatures were great. [THUMBS UP SIGN]

Sounds like a good ride!

Following front forks disassembly and much pondering I decided to go with further upgrading all the innards and ordered new cartridges, springs, etc from Traxxion Dynamics today. The guy at Traxxion sounded like they could have the stuff made and shipped out in a couple days so hopefully the FJ rides again sooner than later. Not as cool as y'alls new bikes but it'll still make me happy!

Lotsa fun with Brick and JR today--lets do it again soon. Lee get that bike rolling again!
