Bob and I put in a full day yesterday- 380 miles door-to-door, for me- made it out to the Hawg-and-Dawg in Erwin for lunch. Got caught in a bit of rain, but (thanks to Bob's intrepid leadership) managed to j-u-s-t skirt around a few other drenchings in the afternoon.

He snapped a few pics, I only got one up on the BRP:

Burned a bunch o' gas, I tested some new comm gear/configuration stuff, made the most of the "Bandit-friendly" route Bob put together... hope to see y'all on the next one.

Yes, it was a very fun day! Nothing like pop-up t-storms to keep you on your toes, and I loved how my new PR-3 tires handled too!

To view the vid below, clik in white box, then clik play button that appears. Sounds like a cow mooing at the end....? <muaha>

Glad Y'all had a good ride!

I need to ride up to see if Lonesome Mountain road is still open. I saw the slide on Revere. I'm sure it's out for a while.

I hope a bunch of you can attend my (MSTA's Big Lynn Lodge) ride next Friday - Sunday.

nahh... that was a pickup truck with a loud exhaust, going by the stop sign at the bottom of the hill; I looked over that way to see if was another hotrod rumbling by.
