Rode yesterday 10/8/18

Unread postby Brick » Tue Oct 09, 2018 8:26 am

Chris had some business over in Carthage, NC so I rode along. Not the curviest riding but still riding. On the way back I wanted to go through Uwarrie, I had hear a few of you mention riding in this area. It had been my impression that there were a few curves there. Well admittedly we only rode 109 SE North through a spot on the map actually labeled Uwarrie and through Eldarado, I know we were riding at a brisk pace but we missed all the curves.
We got home at 7:30ish before the rain hit and had 324 miles.

We rode Uwharrie when I lived in Chapel Hill. The curviest stretch in Uwharrie is Flint Hill Rd which I'm showing in the Google Map. North of the town of Troy is piedmont type terrain so it's a little hillier than south of Troy which is sandhills.
