Yep, it sure did and thanks to Brick for leading us around all day!

BTW Brick, my 30K went dead about 20 minutes after yours did so it looks like around 9 hours is all we're gonna get from a charge. I never had my 20S to go out even after 12 hours. I guess I'll start bringing the 20 along as a backup.

Yeah, a little disappointing along with the random distortion, but I'll give it a chance to perform in the "all mesh" mode with no other BT units paired before I toss it and revert to the 20S.

A great ride on fantastic roads.

I will look into a 30 that I can return if not acceptable.

The 20S distorts and if you're paired to one you'll hear it. There's no magic that makes it go away. Jeff, Greg and me are on 30K only and there's no distortion.

Sena design tech 1: "Hey guys, the new 30K is ready and boy does it sound great!"

Sena design tech 2: "Uh oh, it also sounds great when paired to the 20S. Can't have THAT! "

Sena design tech 3: "No worries, just code in a little echo and rumble to the firmware--problem solved! <bana> "

Bob, I recall the same rodeo when you upgraded from the 10 to the 20. Then, it was the 20's no good and you're going back to the 10.

No, I liked the 20. But this is obviously planned obsolescence. Of the 20S.

Here’s a few more up close pics of the rack. This guy did a great job and took over 4 hours and only cost me $200. It was hard finding someone to do a small job or even return a phone call. We removed the original rack and built an angled plate that attaches to the 4 original holes. The two on top were help by those little clip threaded things. Since they would have been a weak point he threaded a block of aluminum and put it below the Frame to make it more secure.

Yes I do realize the board sticks out a long ways and can’t see my tail light if your on my ass. No I’m not riding in flip flop to the beach. But practically naked, helmet gloves and tennis shoes. I have about 4 miles from my house and I have to go over the Intercoatal Water Way, to get to Wrightsville Beach. There is a Bridge I like to call it the giant cheese grater. Because that’s what it would be like if someone went down on the metal grates.
This set up is the only thing that lets me beat the parking nightmare that is WB.

Damn you actually did it! But I guess its either that or arrive at the beach before dawn to find a parking place for the car. Not much support on that rack, but I guess the board isn't very heavy either. Glad you are doing your thing while staying on 2 wheels occasionally. Come on back and ride some time. <scoot>

We had the Vespa in the shop while fabricating the rack. The board is probably 10-12 lbs w the foil...I’m guessing. Michael, the fabricator suggested trying it like this and said if we need to add a support bar from the back of the rack to the frame we could do it but he didn’t want to drill into the frame unless we had to. You don’t even know it’s back there when riding. There is zero vibration.

Check out this amazing kid! https://youtu.be/5gfFAtcRGaQ
And do some more searches w “Adam Withington”
No I’m not doing any jumping on my hydrofoil. Still can’t turn without falling. I’m a rookie. They call what I do “mowing the lawn”. Just going back and forth. But it is an amazing feeling soaring about 2-3’ above the water. It’s very fast. Nice to be above the swells. But let me say it’s a tough learning curve and the wipeouts at speed are like getting kicked in the nuts and hit in ribs w a baseball bat.

Yeah that video is effin amazing. Thats the Columbia River Gorge--Jan and I rode west down that on 2 rental V-stroms at the end of our trip out there and the winds blowing up the river were unreal. It felt like going 110 at 60mph. You need to take your foil out there some day.
