Ride like the horrific wind

Unread postby Bob » Sat Mar 03, 2018 7:39 pm

Scott and I braved horrific winds ( <bugeye> ) Friday to ride around Lake James with BBQ in Marion, and then up 80 and the BRP towards 181. But it got down to 36F in spots along the parkway with crazy wind gusts and thats before it made its climb to over 4000 ft, and there were still wet spots along the way, so surmising there could be black ice further along, we exited at 226A and went down the mtn and back around Lake James. Then we made a run down Old 18 which was fabulous as usual. Scott just sent me this pic he took close to his house--I guess the tree was standing when he went out in the morning but the horrific winds that we braved took it down while we were riding in those same horribly horrific winds. It was really exceedingly horrific. <bugeye> <yikes> <grin>

Oh hell... Scott where is/was this tree? Doesn’t look like your house.
