JD's Brisket Ride and more

Unread postby Bob » Fri Dec 15, 2017 11:19 am

Scott and I met at Halfway Hdwre and rode Old 18 to JD's for Brisket. See pic. Yummie. Then we headed out Zack's Fork/Grandin/Hwy 268/90/Adako Rd/Fish Hatchery/126 to Glen Alpine where we cut across and made one last swipe at Old 18. I really liked this route, lotsa sweepers and great surfaces. Yall shudda gone too!!

How do you keep your food from sliding off your plate when it’s at this angle?
I too enjoy that route... it’s my back yard. [THUMBS UP SIGN]
With the weather forecast of 67 for next Tuesday I’m thinking I will need to get me and one of my bikes out for a ride. ... just thinkin about it. You?

Looks delicious!

I got in a few miles as planned to break in the KTM's Rekluse clutch.

I'll ride Tuesday assuming the good forecast holds up.

No collision so it didn't really happen. Think about this: how many times have we (all) come within a hairsbreadth (whatever that is) of a violent collision with one of those buggers and never even seen them? Probably a lot more than we'd wanna know about. <bugeye>
