Bob lead a chilly ride up Hwy 181, through Banner Elk, Elk Creek into TN and the infamous Snake at Shady Valley TN. The new pavement at the Snake was awesome except for the farmer trailer drug up gravel on the inside lane.. Bright clear day. Great ride - Lee burned u the Snake - I tried to catch but no joy <udaman>

Marc, Speaking of gravel...when we spit off from you and headed south the roads were covered with gravel. There were sections we had to pick our way through. That part of the country, south of VA58 through Todd down to 421 must have had a near flood.
