Wednesday May 17... Erwin, Revere, Lonesome Mtn road...

Five of us met at the Gate Station in Morganton at 9:47AM. Bob, Scott, Lee, Beach and I rode out just after 10:00. Past Lake James around the back side to Marion. Up 226A to the Switzerland Cafe where Lee split off to head home. He was being smart about his wrist. [THUMBS UP SIGN] Arbuckle to NC-80 to Red Hill and up 197 to Erwin where we ate at Hog N Dog. We decided that Hot Springs was too hot. So we rode the new pavement on Big Laural to Revere and Lonesome Mtn road.

The new pavement on Big Laural is so nice and so smooth Bob keep calling it a race track. I noticed that they did not put gravel along the edges so non was drug back on the road. It was great fun!
