The weather looked the best over toward West Jefferson, NC so the goal was that direction. Lee said he has never eaten at Pie on the Mountain so that was the destination for lunch. Lee, Chris, Greg, Scott, Jim and I left the Gate Station shortly after 10:00 heading toward Lancing, NC. We enjoyed a great ride there and arrived to find that they were only doing Carry Out Only! Bummer! So we headed to West Jefferson and Boondocks were we did enjoy a nice lunch. The ride off the mountain got hotter and hotter. Nice ride and good that we kept decent altitude. At the end it was 89 degrees in Lenoir. I've got another OK pic of where we didn't eat!

Another thing… it looks like Jim Toner either left his phone in Boondocks or on his saddle bag when we rode away. Either way he lost his almost new phone. [FLUSHED FACE]

I lost my phone when it fell out on the road a few months back. Google's phone locator showed me where it was on google maps and took me right back to it.

Sorry, but as much as you may desire to know my whereabouts, it only works to find a phone registered to one's Google account.
