Birthday cake will be much easier to handle than opening a pickle jar. Hope you have a great day and enjoy your birthday.

Thanks everyone and same to you, Bob!

My broken rib, wrist and thumb is healing OK but I misunderstood how long it's going to take. The cast comes off my right arm and hand in 2 weeks for a total of 6, on schedule, but it turns out that's only the half of it. The cast gets replaced with a cuff and thumb split to support the bones and that stays for another 6 weeks before normal operation. So, probably no motorcycles until mid-June. <yikes>

I'm getting pretty good with mainly just one arm and left handed. Just finished a trailer project today by installing a hitch and wiring harness to the Mini Cooper. This is mostly to give me more range for the DRZ without having to load into the back of my pickup truck with the ramps and winch. It's a small, lightweight trailer, only 320 lbs, so the Mini pulls it fine.

Well shit Lee, you can probably ride just fine with the cuff and thumb splint. <muaha>

Just don't let it happen again fella. <pissed>

Edit: beats me how you could install *anything* with one arm.

Yeah, since I can't twist the throttle is won't matter that I can't operate the front brakes! Turns out, opposable thumbs are a big deal. Who knew!?!

Twisty Tom did pretty well with no thumb. Remember Twisty? Well he did ok with the throttle anyway. But he reversed the brake lines so the brake pedal operated the front brakes.

Edit: I guess you don't know Twisty, he left about 6 months before you arrived.
