Well not "that" kind of road but I've started cardiac rehab! [THUMBS UP SIGN][THUMBS UP SIGN][THUMBS UP SIGN] Yea!!! It's about damn time! So the road to recovery!
After the interview today I know it will still be a while before I ride again. I don't know exactly how long a while is but perhaps I'll find out tomorrow. I do know they told me not to plan on riding to Orlando for AIMExpo the middle of next month. [FACE WITH LOOK OF TRIUMPH] Well I can't improve without putting in the work. And at least now the work has stared!

Let's Ride!

Brick, I bet they release you sooner rather than later. This is where your prior working out should help you. <joecool>

I am curious to hear your initial impression with the rehab. When Jan started rehab 6 wks after her heart surgery, most everyone else in the class was in much worse shape than she, and the exercises they would let you do were "pathetic" (her words). They didn't seem to make allowance for better physical shape and everyone had to do the same minimal exercises. She quit after a couple of weeks and went back to 'normal' (for her) exercising.

The first few visits are to establish a base for each person. With a heart monitor on and checking oxygen, pulse and BP. They said they stated most at 5 minutes each section but had me at 10 so they did compensate for me. As you get stronger and they see you are doing better they want us to push more. Won't bother me... a steady increase is a good thing. [THUMBS UP SIGN]

Sounds like your guys are doing it right. Maybe Jan had some slacker therapists. <muaha>
