Drove up to DC and rode her back home yesterday.

Figured I'd join the BMW club too.

Frame sliders, driving lights, throttle Meister, sport bags, Puig screen, new tires and recent major BMW service.

I drove to DC from Greenville Nc yesterday. Guy was super nice, had gotten himself in some debt to the IRS so he let it go for a smoking deal. It's in great shape.
The abs motor is out, but it's a pretty easy fix or I can just ride without it.
All in all I'm pleased. 6-7 hours on the interstate yesterday with it for my first ride, not the best but it's a great bike. Smooth and just mind bendingly fast! Handles way better than I thought it would too.

Module Masters in Idaho can rebuild the ABS module. Some shocks would probably transform the handling. Ask 007.

Also, you may be able to replace the brushes in the ABS motor and fix it yourself.

I've gotten a few parts from him actually!
Project bike is still in the burner for sure. In fact hope to have the radiator and headers back on her this week and then she'll be running again.

He now technically owns 4 bikes, I think. He will be using my K12S as an organ donor of sorts, then putting it back together and selling it or maybe trading it to his dad. Y'all missed out.

Grip Buddies
Castrol 4t RS oil and K/N filter for an oil change
LiquiMoly gear fluid for the final drive fluid change
Oberon 36mm clutch slave cylinder upgrade


Steves old 05 K bike will be donating:
Ohlins front and rear suspension
Rick Mayer saddle
3.3" bar risers with throttle cables and clutch line
STM slipper clutch
Booster plug
Bestem Carbon fiber trim pieces and clear turn signal lenses that survived the accident last year

And maybe a full Remus exhaust but I'm not sure I want it to be too loud.

Wow---its like 007's K bike is rising from the dead lol!

What does the slave cyl upgrade do?

The stock is 32, k1300 got a 34, I'm going to a 36. Makes the clutch pull much lighter and easier to modulate, stock it is quite heavy and harder to modulate smoothly.
