Lake Lure roads

Unread postby NC-Canuck » Tue Jun 16, 2015 11:44 pm

Heading to Lake Lure For a week of vacation on Saturday with the family. Taking the bike for morning rides while everyone is sleeping. Any suggestions of some roads to ride while down there?

Buffalo Shoals is excellent. The other good one I like is Bills Creek I think.

Debbie Turner sent us up Bill's Creek the other day. It's north on Hwy 9 heading towards Black Mountain. It breaks off to the right. A couple years back we took the Green River Rd back to the Saluda area. It's a nice road but the surface is questionable in some spots. Stop at Debbie's place and ask her. Tell her your Bricks best friend ! <muaha>
