Tire prices

Unread postby PirateRiderBen » Sun Jun 14, 2015 10:39 pm

Can someone explain to me why "adventure" tires are so incredibly expensive compared to sport bike tires? A trail attack 2 rear can run you 230$ or so! Whereas a Q3 is like 120-130$...
Wouldn't the softer racier tires be worth more?

Because they can!
I have Trail Attack 2's and know I didn't pay that much. Try Rocky Mountain ATV or Jake Wilson.

I must be out riding my Super Teneré'!

^^^Yeah, I've never paid over $200 for a rear for my GS. Where are you getting quotes?

Me neither. AMT is $20 less on the Anakee 3 rear for my bike.
