Myers Motorcycle in Asheville closing this SaturdaySadly another MC dealer is closing their doors. Myers is a Ducati and Triumph dealer. They are liquidating everything by this Saturday. Maybe some good deals on tires, gear, and accessories even if you don't ride a Ducati or Triumph.
Re: Myers Motorcycle in Asheville closing this SaturdayYea I saw this... damn I hate this but I think it's self inflicted!
I may go there tomorrow, hey supposed to be 74* tomorrow, and see what's on sale. I might be out riding my Super Tenere' Brick

Re: Myers Motorcycle in Asheville closing this SaturdaySo I rode over to Myers yesterday to see if I could snag any deals. They are selling everything at Dealer cost. Triumph bikes, and they had a lot, were 15-20% off MSRP! (So that's what they say is how much they make if the sell them for MSRP... ??? I think I heard the if they didn't sell the Ducati that Ducati would take them back.
All other merchandise was down like 50%... but it was picked over. Sidi boot Arai helmets... all 50% off. I was bummed they didn't have the boots wanted in my size! I walked up to the parts counter and the guy working there looked up and said, whew! I said you been busy? He said Oh yea... We should have gone out of business every day! Kind of says it all. I might be out riding my Super Tenere' Brick

Re: Myers Motorcycle in Asheville closing this SaturdayTriumph + Ducati sounds like a tough act. It seems like most Triumph outlets I've seen are combined with something else that sells in volume like BMW.
Re: Myers Motorcycle in Asheville closing this Saturday
Indeed--BMW of Charlotte sells Triumph and Ducati, and I won't be surprised if Eurosport in Asheville doesn't immediately pick up those 2 brands. http://www.eurosportasheville.com/ Bob
Re: Myers Motorcycle in Asheville closing this SaturdayThe new Ducati Greensboro apparently closed shortly after opening. I don't think they are selling as well as expected. BMW seems to be making a killing, along with cheaper, lower displacement motorcycles from all the brands.
