Yes it's true after 28 years with my Sidi On Road boots I've gone and done it... I've purchased a new set of boots. Just got them yesterday at Eurosport of Asheville. So they were great on the ride home... so far so good!

I had intended on wearing them this weekend when I rode home to Ohio for my 50th HS reunion but I've been watching the weather for Ohio and it looks like cold shit with lots of clouds and rain. I've done that in Ohio and it sucks! I'm from the north west corner of Ohio where it's flat as a pancake so not any fun riding up there so I'm driving my truck! This sucks!

Oh well I am attending the MSTA's Texas Hill Country in Kerrville, Tx end of the month. So I'll get some good riding in there. As a side note, Gary Lackey and Chris Jernigan are going to the Texas Hill Country too... they want to finish the ride from last February where they got together at 72mph. So we will be going back to Langtree, Tx too. <fonda>

Great looking boots <thumb> ...on my second set of Sidi 'Vertebra'-family variants, couldn't be happier.

Kinda tempting fate aren't you? I'd be riding behind those 2. <muaha>

Edit: Nice boots! Doesn't it feel great when you get some really nice new gear like that? I just got something new, and it makes you wanna ride more just to try it out. But I'm not saying what, cause I dont wanna be accused of drinking any more koolaid. <grin>

I have slightly changed the Farkle-ization forum title to include new riding gear. We all want to see those new boots or jacket or helmet or gloves or etc so start posting every time you get something new. Body farkles. Reviews would also be nice. <joecool>

BTW: All MSTA members... If you purchase ANY cousafety gear for you or your bike OR if you take a rider education course be sure to send your receipt to the MSTA's Dan Clark Safety program. You could get a check back for your purchase. I got a check last year I think it was $100. I will be sending this receipt in for sure! Find the details on where and what to send in at the RideMSTA.com site.
